Installation Guides

We detected Windows. Your matching instructions are highlighted, but every platform is available below.

iOS / iPadOS

Install via Files or Settings ➜ General ➜ VPN & Device Management.

  1. Download the PEM profile and AirDrop or save it to the device.
  2. Open Settings ➜ General ➜ VPN & Device Management then tap the downloaded profile.
  3. Review the certificate details, tap Install, and provide your device passcode.
  4. Navigate to Settings ➜ General ➜ About ➜ Certificate Trust Settings and enable full trust for the new root.
  5. A restart may be required before Safari trusts the certificate.

Mobile devices enrolled in MDM may require an administrator to push the profile.

Android / ChromeOS

Install from Settings ➜ Security ➜ Encryption & credentials.

Preferred format: PEM CRT (.crt)

Download (PEM CRT for Android and ChromeOS)
  1. Download the Android CRT with Chrome or transfer it via USB.
  2. Open Settings ➜ Security ➜ Encryption & credentials ➜ Install a certificate ➜ CA certificate.
  3. Select the downloaded file and name the certificate for future reference.
  4. Confirm the trust dialog; some devices ask you to set a PIN/Pattern if not already set.
  5. Reboot the device or toggle Airplane mode to flush cached trust stores.

Work-managed devices might block user CA installs; contact your IT administrator.

Windows

Import via certmgr.msc or Group Policy.

Preferred format: DER CER (.cer)

Download (DER encoded CER for Windows)
  1. Download the Windows CER file on the workstation.
  2. Double-click the file, choose Install Certificate, and select Local Machine when prompted.
  3. Use the wizard to place the certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
  4. Finish the wizard and verify the certificate appears under Trusted Root Certification Authorities ➜ Certificates.
  5. Close all browsers or run `gpupdate /force` to ensure applications reload the trust store.

Non-admin users should ask IT to import the certificate using Group Policy.

Linux

Install to the system or application trust store.

Preferred format: PEM CRT (.crt)

Download (PEM CRT for Linux distributions)
  1. Download the Linux CRT and place it under `/usr/local/share/ca-certificates/` (Debian/Ubuntu) or `/etc/pki/ca-trust/source/anchors/` (RHEL/Fedora).
  2. Rename the file so it ends with `.crt` if necessary.
  3. Run `sudo update-ca-certificates` (Debian/Ubuntu) or `sudo update-ca-trust extract` (RHEL/Fedora).
  4. For Firefox, open Preferences ➜ Privacy & Security ➜ Certificates ➜ View Certificates ➜ Authorities ➜ Import.
  5. Restart dependent services (nginx, docker, etc.) to pick up the new root.
